The Autumn of the Warriors' Return was the season in which Matthias, Mattimeo and their friends returned to Redwall Abbey after being kidnapped by Slagar the Cruel. This season was originally to be named "Autumn of the Early Chestnut" by Abbot Mordalfus but he ceded to Cornflower's wishes in naming it in honor of the warriors.

This season was marked by a wonderful feast held in the Orchard.

The Autumn of the Warriors' Return occured six season before the Summer of the Rosebay Willowherb.
