Barbowla Boulderdog was a male otter patriarch who resided in a holt on an island near a waterfall in Mossflower Woods. He was the husband of Kachooch, the father of Belford, and the cousin of Skipper Rorc. His tribe saved Luglug and a boatload of Guosim shrewbabes, plus Mad Maudie. He aided the group in getting to Redwall Abbey.

He is known to love food and be slightly chubby.
