Binta was a vixen jailer in the Ravagers horde of Vilaya, and the mate of Thwip. She had a limp, and used a yew cane to help her walk. She also used it to beat their young prisoners. She and Thwip deserted their post and ran off into Mossflower Woods. They were pursued by Zwilt the Shade, but were never caught. The two foxes stumbled upon Flibber, one of their former captives. The shrewmaid killed Thwip and Binta escaped.

Unlike most vermin couples, Binta and Thwip seemed to have some affection for each other, as the vixen mourned when her mate was slain.
