Bremmun was an older male squirrel of Redwall Abbey who was friends with Abbess Vale. He could sometimes be strict. Bremmun disliked Samkim and Arula and also distrusted Dingeye and Thura, but it was mostly because of his vote that the two stoats were able to stay at the Abbey. He offered to go to fetch the Flowers of Icetor from the north at first, but Thrugg went instead of him. He later died of Dryditch Fever.
