Brother Gordale was the Gatekeeper of Redwall Abbey during the Seasons of the Savage, or the time Gulo the Savage was present in Mossflower. Brother Gordale was involved greatly in the solving of dreams given to Brooky and Sister Armel.

Gordale is somewhat of a minor character, so not much is known about him.
