Browntooth was a stoat in Slagar the Cruel's gang. He, along with his friend Badrag, were killed by the Painted Ones. This was entirely his fault, as he walked into a branch and alerted the Painted Ones' attention. Even if he had survived, Slagar would probably have killed him for exposing them.
