Colonel Whippscut was a high-ranking hare in the Long Patrol under Lord Hightor. He was the husband of Dunfreda, father of Bescarum and a friend of Hightor. He was sent to follow Scarum and Sagaxus after they ran away from Salamandastron, and lost them when they boarded the Stopdog with Kroova Wavedog.
