Dan'l was a male mole who lived at Redwall Abbey. He was an expert digger. Foremole chose Dan'l, Buxton and Groaby to dig a tunnel and help save the oarslaves kept captive by the crew of the Darkqueen. Like all moles, he was extremely fond of raspberry cream pudding.
