Dinat was a pretty shrewmaid of Cavemob, a daughter of Bodjev and Chich and a sister to Alfik and three other sisters. She was enchanted by Nimbalo. Dinat was chosen to "meet" (be eaten by) the giant monster eel Yo Karr by a waterdrop in the old shrew ritual, but Tagg saved her life.
