Durrlow was a male water rat in the army of the Marlfoxes. Along with Toolam, he traveled home with Mokkan and was soon promoted to Chief Advisor, thus replacing Wilce. He made a brave last stand when Mokkan realised he was losing the battle, and got in a boat to leave. Durrlow pushed him out to sea with the words "Bad luck go with you!"
