Felltooth was an enterprising rat under Captain Riptung. When the shrews Mikla and Flann took the Waveblade out to sea, he volunteered to swim out to it and bring it back, along with six other rats. Later, when he had failed to do so, he, along with the six others who had followed him, was punished by being given guard duty. Later, he alerted Fort Bladegirt of the Trag attack when an arrow passed through his ear.
