Bill Tidy (October 9, 1933 - March 11, 2023) was an internationally praised English cartoonist, known for his work with newspapers, TV shows, board games, and more. He resided in Liverpool, England, and illustrated most of Brian Jacques' early works.

Tidy began professional cartooning in 1957 and married his wife Rosa in 1960. They had three children, Nick, Sylvia, and Rob, and three grandchildren. He was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in 2000 for journalism services, assisting with establishing the British Cartoonists' Association.

Tidy passed away in March 2023 after experiencing two major strokes that impacted his health. He is survived by Sylvia and Rob.
