Brother Melilot was a fat male dormouse and the Head Cook of Redwall Abbey. He and Sister Sloey took care the elders and Dibbuns of Redwall, when the rest of Redwallers fought to rescue Dwopple from Marlfoxes. He and Foremole Gubbio prepared Redwall Midsummer Feast with the help of Rimrose and Ellayo. He also helped to concoct the infamous "Shrimpberry Pie" which was to be later served to Florian.
Melilot was a minor character; little else is known.
