Gabriel Quill, also known as Gabe, was the official Cellarmaster of Redwall Abbey during the time of Abbot Bernard, and a descendant of Brownspike O'Quill. His nephew Durry accompanied Mariel and Dandin on their journey to Terramort. Durry later renamed the ship Waveblade the Gabriel after his uncle. He was an old friend of Brother Hubert and Burgo.
By the events of The Bellmaker, Gabriel was said to have passed away.
