Official Summary[]
It is the Summer of the Late Rose, a time of peace and harmony among the gentle creatures of Redwall Abbey. That is, until Cluny the Scourge rears his sinister head. This savage rat and his rodent horde have brought war to the gates of the ancient Abbey.
Amidst preparations for the siege, a quest is begun. Matthias, a bumbling young novice, has undertaken a daunting search for the legendary sword of Martin the Warrior. It is this sword that holds the key to the Abbey's salvation...and Matthias' destiny.
