Foremole was the male mole leader of the Mossflower mole tribe. He lived in Moledeep. Foremole's main deputy was Billum, who occasionally stepped in when Foremole was not present.
Foremole made his entrance into Brockhall in dramatic and characteristic mole fashion by burrowing underneath the refuge and appearing through the floor.
As one of the main members of the Corim, he participated in many of the scuffles against Tsarmina Greeneyes. His tunnels allowed him and his team of moles to rescue archers, such as Columbine in order to bring them back safely to Brockhall. Foremole assisted Abbess Germaine in surveying the structural weaknesses of Kotir and, together with Old Dinny, he planned and supervised the flood tunnels into the fortress.
As all moles, Foremole enjoyed good vittles such as Turnip 'n Tater 'n Beetroot Deeper'n'ever Pie and October Ale. Underneath a gruff demeanor, Foremole hid a golden heart, and he was dedicated to the well-being of the woodlanders and the safety of his crew. When three of his most talented crew went missing for several days, he did not rest until he found them again.
He was succeeded as Foremole by Young Dinny.
