Foremole was the leader of the moles in Redwall Abbey.

During the Late Rose Summer Wars, Foremole and his crew assisted Matthias and Methuselah in their quest to retrieve the sword of Martin the Warrior by opening up the passageway to Martin's tomb. Foremole and his crew proved to be quite useful when Cluny the Scourge and his Horde planned to dig into Redwall Abbey.

Eight seasons later during the Summer of the Golden Plain, Foremole and his crew dug supply tunnels when the Redwallers were besieged in Cavern Hole by Ironbeak's flock. Foremole was descended from Young Dinny, Togget, and Old Dinny.

TriviaEdit

• In the tv series, he has the appearance of a star-nosed mole, a species native to North America. This conflicts to the book series since most of the fauna are chiefly native to the British Isles (with the exception of animals like monitor lizards, beavers and sables). In addition to this, it is never mentioned in the book whether or not Foremole was a star-nosed mole, although it is quite unlikely that he was. All moles in the book series are depicted as european moles.

• Foremole often curses "Owd 'Arry",(Old Harry) an old British name for the devil.
