Friar Glisum was a male dormouse who was the Kitchen Friar for Redwall Abbey. He was knowledgeable in the ways of food, even knowing how individual creatures liked their breakfast. He also liked to add surprise ingredients, guessing how it would complement the other flavors in the dish.

Not to be confused with Abbot Glisam.
