Gabriel Quill, also known as Gabe, was the official Cellarhog of Redwall Abbey during the time of Abbot Bernard, and a descendant of Brownspike O'Quill. His nephew Durry went with Mariel and Dandin on their journey to Terramort. Durry later renamed the Waveblade the Gabriel after his uncle. He was an old friend of Brother Hubert and Burgo. By the time of the book The Bellmaker Gabriel was said to already be dead.
