Garul was an older male member of the Northwest Guosim and served as Deputy Log-a-Log after the death of Tugga Bruster.

Dubble, who would have been Log-a-Log by birthright, abdicated the position completely to Garul after learning about how Tugga Bruster died and shamed his family.
