Ghigno (pronounced "Jeenyoh") was Al Misurata's second-in-command, the first mate aboard the Sea Djinn, and the cousin of Padre Marlanese. His face was fixed in a permanent sneer because of an injury to his jaw, and he was aptly named, as "ghigno" is the Italian word for "sneer". He carried two loaded pistols on his person at all times, and was killed when he fell off a balcony with Al Misurata and Serafina.
