Gromal was a male ferret, and part of the Rapscallion army. Along with a detachment of others, he left the army before the death of Gormad Tunn on a scouting mission.
Gromal, along with Skulka happened to come across Tammo, and the two of them decided to steal his belongings and provisions.
Gromal went to take Tammo's belongings, while Skulka kept an arrow pointed at Tammo, but he was attacked by Russa Nodrey, who, together with Tammo, fought and defeated the two ferrets. Gromal's life would have ended there but for Tammo, who pleaded with Russa to spare the ferrets lives.
Gromal and Skulka went to attack Tammo and Russa again that night, but was killed by Russa, before the ferrets attempt an attack.
