Gubbio was a young mole Dibbun of Redwall Abbey who was friends with Sloey. He was a very minor character. He later became Foremole. He and Brother Melilot prepared Redwall Midsummer Feast with the help of Rimrose and Ellayo.

It's unknown why Gubbio took over from Diggum to be Foremole; age seems not to be much of an issue.
