Gurdle Sprink was a male hedgehog and Cellarkeeper of Redwall Abbey. He always brought up wild cherry and redcurrant cordial (which was made on last day of previous summer) from the cellars on the first day of summer. Gurdle was part of the search party looking for Brockhall, and was ready to sacrifice himself for the safety of the others when a pack of crows attacked; however, Skipper helped him to safety and he helped to repel the crows.
