Hogspit was a male weasel under the command of Damug Warfang in the Rapscallion army. He was often described as "big" and "nasty-looking". He hated the two rats Sneezewort and Lousewort because they accidentally threw a ship's wheel at him. Along with Lousewort, he was promoted to the rank of Rapscour after the two previous Rapscours, Borumm and Vendace, were declared traitors. Hogspit constantly bullied his fellow Rapscour Lousewort, as well as Lousewort's friend Sneezewort. On a scouting expedition, he was humiliated and killed by Log-a-Log after attempting to duel with him.
