Hydrad was a male rat who took over from Riftun. He was in charge of the slaves while they were building a stone watch tower on the cliffs of Riftgard. Hydrad used to beat them with his spearbutt instead of a whip. He almost killed an ottermaid named Sleeve, but he failed because Kroova Wavedog killed him first.
