Irgle was a harvest mouse Dibbun of Redwall Abbey. His mother and father were the Gatekeepers Hillyah and Oreal, and he had a twin sibling named Ralg. He and Ralg were quite a handful for their parents. The twins were almost eaten by an angry gannet that had been wounded and residing in the Abbey attic, but they were saved by their parents and fellow Redwallers.
