King Bloodfeather was a leader of the Sparra tribe at some point between the times of Abbess Vale and Abbot Mortimer, before the mother of Dunwing was hatched.

Bloodfeather stole the sword of Martin the Warrior from the north weathervane of Redwall Abbey to raise Sparra morale. He placed the sword in the court of the Sparra.

Bloodfeather was succeeded by King Bull Sparra.
