Licensing a Picture

ForrestFighter

Hello Lord Tbt. I recently did a black and white scratchboard of the Mattimeo cover art by Gary Chalk, and I'd like to know how I should license and name it if I want to upload it. The piece I did is actually from the back of the book, so you can't actually see it the picture.

Problem Adding Images

Lathagarr Stormgale of Tronn

When I try to add an image, half the time the licensing option won't even show up, so of course it gets deleted because of not having that little license thing. My problem is that the licensing option will not even show up, so I am unable to give it a license. I don't know if it's a problem you are able to fix or if it's a problem in Wikia.

Petition to bring back the TV Show

If you can, I'd appreciate it if you posted this on the homepage. Someone's trying to revive the TV Show at long last (even if it's most likely too late), and they've started a petition to get Nelvena's attention (though another studio might be what we need at this point)

Please help spread the word so more Tales of Redwall can be animated. At the very least, Mossflower and Pearls of Lutra should be adapted.

  It's not going to happen. PBS has moved on, so has Nelvana. This is ancient history. Shows don't come back after over a decade in the grave, that's just not how the industry works. Nelvana doesn't even have the rights any more, so petitioning them will do nothing.

  Besides(if I may butt in here), even if they could get licensing, Disney just wouldn't want to make a continuation of the long-defunct Redwall TV series. A Redwall movie just might be possible in the distant future, but even that's doubtful. I must conclude with the very real fact that there is never going to be a continuation of the old cartoon series.

  Though why DID the show have to end. Must've been doing something right otherwise we wouldn't have gotten seasons 2 and 3. I can certainly imagine them making (hopefully) good use of "Pearls of Lutra", "Mossflower" and "Mariel"

Hey there! Have you heard of The Bone Season? It's a great new YA dystopian book series with some aspects along the same veins as Redwall (but with a few key differences) that you might like. You can get more information about the book here. The publisher is offering us some books to give to avid readers active on book wikis that would be interested and you came to mind!
It would be awesome to get a read on what you thought of the series and if we could get a great community going on wikis based on these books. The Bone Season is already getting optioned for a film even though it hasn't been published yet, so you would be getting your hands on one of the first copies! Hey TBT! I wanted to let you know about an interesting initiative Wikia is rolling out. We're reaching out to a few trusted admins first about it because we'd really like to involve you guys specifically. Would you be open to working with us and other Wikia Community members in coming up with ideas for our programs? You'd be invited to join developer round-tables, co-author quizzes and other content, and maybe be invited to the Wikia offices in June (we would fly you out of course).
