Moonpaw was a female hare in Urthstripe the Strong's Long Patrol. She was slain in the stairwell of Salamandastron after throwing herself at part of the vermin horde being led by Ferahgo the Assassin's son, Klitch. Klitch stepped on her body scornfully while the vermin ran up the stairs. Moonpaw was later buried outside the mountain with the shrews and hares that died in the battle.
