Mr. Fieldmouse was the husband of Mrs. Fieldmouse and the father of Cornflower at Redwall Abbey.

When Shadow from Cluny the Scourge's horde was escaping from stealing the tapestry of Martin the Warrior, Mr. Fieldmouse attempted to stop the rat by grabbing hold of him. This proved to be a bad decision, as Shadow proceeded to stab him twice with his dagger.

He recovered quickly, and went on to assist the other Redwallers in defending the walls from Cluny's attacks.

After the battle with Cluny, he is not mentioned. It is probable he survived and went on living happily at the Abbey. Strangely, he is not mentioned in Mattimeo.

Role in the TV SeriesEdit

In the Redwall TV Series, Mr. Fieldmouse does not exist; John Churchmouse is Cornflower's father.
