Olav Skyfurrow is a male member of the Skyfurrow geese skein, and most likely distantly related to Brantalis Skyfurrow. Generally, they used Salamandastron as their method of finding the way to the sea.

Olav was injured in Mossflower Woods and was found by Lady Sable Brock. As thanks for attending to his medical needs, he gave Sable Brock directions to Salamandastron, which were later used by Boar the Fighter, as well as Martin the Warrior, Gonff the Mousethief, and Young Dinny.
