Olav Skyfurrow was a male member of the Skyfurrow geese skein, and most likely distantly related to Brantalis Skyfurrow. Generally, the geese used Salamandastron as their method of finding the way to the sea.
Olav was injured in Mossflower Woods, where he was found by Lady Sable Brock. In gratitude for attending to his medical needs, he provided Sable Brock with directions to Salamandastron, which were later used by Boar the Fighter, as well as Martin the Warrior, Gonff the Mousethief, and Young Dinny.
