The Ravagers were a vermin group led by Vilaya the Sable Quean, who kidnapped Redwall Abbey Dibbuns and other woodlander babes. They were approximately 10 score in size and were made up of rats, weasels, ferrets, stoats, and at least three foxes.

Their numbers grew each time their commander Zwilt the Shade conquered another vermin band and forced them to join the Ravager ranks. The river rat horde of Grullba Deathwind and vermin tribe of Gadra the Spear are examples of this.
