Redwall: The Adventure Begins is the first Redwall TV Series Region 1 DVD release since 2006, due to an agreement between Nelvana and Phase 4 Films. It is a re-release of 2003's Redwall - The Adventure Begins, and as such contains episodes one through six of season one.

The official product summary is as follows:

Redwall Abbey is the home of gentle mice, voles, otters, and badgers. As the inhabitants prepare for the great Jubilee Feast danger stalks the peaceful world of Redwall; the rats have arrived at the Abbey walls! Cluny the Scourge, the most evil and savage bilge rat of all, has come with his rodent horde to conquer and destroy. War erupts, shattering peace that has reigned since Martin the Warrior laid down his mighty sword generations earlier. As a dark cloud of doom and despair hangs over the ancient stone Abbey of Redwall, the most unlikely hero emerges from the gloom, a bumbling young novice named Matthias.
