Rogg Longladle was a mole who lived with his extended family in a large cavern modified to serve as a dwelling. He was the father of Gurth Longladle as well as being distantly related to Blossom Bunn. He was also old friends with Ruffgar Brookback, who claimed that he was the best cook on any stream, and was known to be a sharp dresser. As Lord Brocktree and his companions were leaving his home to travel to Salamandastron, he requested them to take Gurth along with them, as he worried that he might get in trouble when he traveled alone.
