The Sgian Dhu (pronounced "skee(a)n doo") is a Scottish blade only known to be used by Rakkety Tam MacBurl and his companion Wild Doogy Plumm. They are short daggers with black handles. The name is literally Scots Gaelic for "black knife". They were hidden by the feathers on their wielders hats when not in use.
