Shorebuck (Salamandastron)

Shorebuck was a young male hare of Salamandastron. His weapon was a sling and the battle against Ferahgo and the Corpsemakers was Shorebuck's very first military engagement. After the battle he got permission from Urthstripe to eat first and unfortunately Shorebuck died when he ate the food which had been poisoned by Farran the Poisoner.
He is not the same character as the Shorebuck in Mariel of Redwall.
