Sister Pansy was a female kitchen mouse of Redwall Abbey who loved cooking, and learned many recipes from Friar Hugo. She prepared the WinterSnow Ball by herself. Pansy was good friends with both Friar Hugo and Constance, and was not in favour of Basil Stag Hare or Tummscoff. She never learned to waltz until the night of the Ball, when Sprywisp taught her to do so. She became Head Cook when Friar Hugo retired.
