An unvisited land in the series, the Southwest Lands was once peacefully ruled by badgers, before the coming of Ferahgo the Assassin. Urthound and Urthrun were the last two to oppose the weasel. He combined force with cunning to conquer the Southwest Lands, and then, eager for treasure, roved north to the mountain of Salamandastron. The fate of the Southwest Lands was left unknown.

The Southwest Lands may later have been reverted to the Kingdom of Southsward, since both are in a similar southwesterly location.

Also which may be related is the far Southern lands, from which the badger family of Gorath the Flame originated.
