Streamsleek was a powerful young otter who participated in a log sailing contest with Mattimeo during the annual festivities at Redwall Abbey. He acknowledged that Mattimeo was the winner after three circuits around the Abbey Pond. Although he was an otter and chartered his course carefully, Streamsleek had trouble keeping up with Mattimeo. Mattimeo received a coronet made of duckweed as a prize.
