Swash was a female otter, a sister of Blekker and a member of Skipper's ottercrew. She wore a coat. After Deyna was taken to Rukky Garge, Swash left with her sister and 20 otters for Redwall Abbey to bring news to Mhera and Filorn about Deyna. They then remained at Redwall as a precaution against a possible threat from the Juska.
