Cornflower died in a battle.She died the same way Rose did.The bad fox who stole the creature's young killed her when she,Matthias,and other Redwall and Mossflower creatures.When I watched that episode,I was so upset she was dead, a cried as she was my favourite character,and it was also very upsetting when Matthias said,(after killing the fox),"I shall never fight with my father's sword again.

So thats how she died.

There is no episode of the Redwall TV Series that matches that description (nor any incident in the books, for that matter). You may be getting the final episode of Martin the Warrior mixed up with the Mattimeo series. The line you say was spoken by Matthias was one spoken by Martin.

is the image we have for cornflower even her. I mean it's blurry and I'm not even sure where it's from, the fact that it's colored makes me think that it's not from the book. and even then the picture we have from the TV series is a lot better. It is Cornflower It's from an edition of Redwall that had paintings of important scenes such as Matthias and King Bull falling from the roof. This picture of Cornflower is from when Matthias and Methuselah are looking at the riddle behind the Tapestry, and she brings them lunch.
