It is rather odd, Deyna and Veil are quite similar. They are both creatures raised by the opposite alignment of their species (a good guy raised by bad guys and a bad guy raised by good guys) and yet maintain their species alignment. (Although Veils' is arguable)

Why is Deyna so strong?! Blizzard6654 22:48, 7 May 2009 (UTC)Blizzard6654
Because he's an otter.
I LOVE TAGG 8L
Although I agree halfway with the first comment, Deyna is not a so called "complete" goodbeast, just as Veil is not a complete "badbeast" or vermin. Deyna lived with the tribe of Juska for a time, but could you convince Matthias or Mariel into the same situation. Then their is Veil, most vermin would not even give their own life to the LEADER, but to mention a goodbeast, but despite the Redwallers banded him, insulted, and claimed him true evil, he gave his life to Bryony, the only creature, who although at the end was forced to conform, truly loved him.
Is the beast pictured on the cover of "Taggerung" (American Edition, I think) Deyna? It does say that Deyna had a blue pattern on his cheek, as does the beast pictured (SUBST:User:TheTragedyofE/Sig 00:33, November 23, 2015 (UTC))
Why does my edit get reverted?
- Great question. 1) The language for the first edit was fine. 2) I have no evidence for your trivia claim. -- LordTBT Talk! 22:49, May 6, 2015 (UTC)
