I noticed there is two articles about Broggle. Would we save this one, because in this article has more information about him? --Sitruunasooda 16:08, 13 February 2007
- I thought that was odd. Could you link me to the other one? --LordTBT Talk! 17:05, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
Here is another article about him: Friar Broggle. --Sitruunasooda 17:23, 14 February 2007
What's with the title of this page? Granted, Broggle was Friar Bobb's successor, but nowhere in the book was he given the title himself. I know of some fanfics that identify him as "Friar Broggle," but as this is not a fanfic page, shouldn't it include only canonical info? —This unsigned comment was added by 199.120.85.249 (talk • contribs) 18:31, 16 April 2009. - As Broggle was in fact Bobb's successor, that means he takes on the title. "Friar" is the title of Redwall head cook. -- LordTBT Talk! 03:35, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- Much as I hate to point out your mistakes, somebody's got to do it. Redwall's cooks do not always have the title Friar. Witness Mother Buscol, Brother Melilot and Toran Widegirth. The mere fact of Broggle's being head cook therefore does not automatically qualify him as a Friar. 173.233.37.184 21:07, August 24, 2010 (UTC)
- I'd say that's debatable at best. Because they are not explicitly called 'Friar' does not mean they are not a Friar, does it? -- LordTBT Talk! 23:01, August 24, 2010 (UTC)
- But it doesn't mean they are Friars, either. You've said more times than I care to remember that you want everything on this site to be based on hard facts, not merely assumptions. 173.233.37.184 11:55, August 25, 2010 (UTC)
- You are correct, in that if they are not given the exact title in the novel, than we cannot list them as having that title. However it is my personal opinion that the title is given. -- LordTBT Talk! 23:12, August 25, 2010 (UTC)
- I won't try to change your opinion; I just hope you remember that, as per the nature of this site, neither your opinion nor mine nor anybody else's matters here. What matters is what Brian Jacques does or does not say. 173.233.37.184 13:27, August 26, 2010 (UTC)
Well what else would you call the head cook at an abbey who replaced the friar Lordsunflash Naught Can Stop The Badger Lord!
