Talk:Redwall Beverages
Back to page
I am uncertain if this is the place to mention this but I think there may be a mistake on this page. The page lists 'Dandelion Fizz' and mentions it to be a beverage rather accidentally discovered by Gabriel Quill when he was experimenting with buttercup and honey cordial. This drink is presumably the drink mentioned by the same person in those same circumstances in Mariel of Redwall. Where does it mention dandelion? Why would you put dandelion in a buttercup and honey cordial? Shouldn't it be buttercup fizz? Or did I simply miss the mention of it's containing dandelion? I can quote you the exact paragraph where Gabriel Quill is talking about it, if you like. --Cyanidearsenic 02:30, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
I wanted to add that it occurred to me that perhaps the intent was to suggest replacing the buttercup with dandelion if one were to attempt the formation of a recipe due to the toxicity of buttercups. --Cyanidearsenic 03:37, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for your inquiry, someone appears to have confused some beverages. "Fizzy Dandelion Cup" appears in the first few pages of Martin the Warrior, and it is not the beverage that seems to be discussed in Mariel, which is "Buttercup 'n' Honey Cordial". The article has been altered accordingly. -- LordTBT
