Log-a-log Jango Bigboat mentions it as a likely hiding spot for vermin, but no character actually goes there.

I was thinking there might have been a meeting between Baliss and Korvus Skurr's birds/reptiles at the Quarry, but that may have just been an event relayed to Korvus Skurr, and never a scene in the book itself. Taggerung Warrior of Redwall 01:06, August 20, 2011 (UTC)

Baliss and the Magpies he talks to do go to the Quarry; however, these events take place in Doomwyte. By the time of The Sable Quean, Baliss is dead.
