Threeclaws was a fat male weasel in Slagar the Cruel's gang. He was the main slavedriver, and was usually left in charge when Slagar was away, a position which Halftail the stoat resented and led to a internal fight among the villains. He was one of only five of the surviving members of the gang to be caught by Matthias, Orlando the Axe and the rest of Slagar's pursuers after being abandoned by the fox.

- In the Redwal TV Series, Threeclaws and Mattimeo are the only characters to know the real identity of Slagar.
