Togget was the grandson of Young Dinny, great-great grandson of Old Dinny, ancestor of Foremole (Redwall), Foremole of Redwall Abbey, and friend of Bryony. He was a trustworthy mole who risked his life helping Bryony on her journey to find Veil Sixclaw even though he believed that Veil was evil. He was wounded in the battle at Bat Mountpit by a rat's arrow in his shoulder. He eventually was annointed Foremole.
