Tungro was a Skipper of otters for a Holt at the southern end of the Northfork Stream. He was the son of Bargud, nephew of Warthorn, and the brother of Folgrim. Alledgedly, he was the spitting image of Warthorn.

Tungro and his holt are master carpenters and furniture makers. They were responsible for building all of the furniture in Redwall Abbey.
