Urthound was the son of Urthclaw and Loambudd, also husband of Urthrun, and father of two Lords of Salamandastron: Urthstripe the Strong and Urthwyte the Mighty. Urthound was Lord of the Southwest Lands. He wore a medal around his neck. Both Urthound and Urthrun were slain by Ferahgo the Assassin.
